5. Account at an online casino
-
-
The short answer to this question is ‘yes’, but the extended answer is undoubtedly ‘no’.
Although in most cases you can create different accounts without much difficulty, but it is not allowed at any online casino and can cause a lot of problems with any winnings.
At almost every online casino, only one account may be created per household and/or IP address. This may seem strict, but it actually makes a lot of sense.
Namely, a new account can take advantage of welcome bonuses and some other benefits that are intended purely for new players.
Should casinos not have the rule of one account per address, then everyone can use unlimited bonus schemes, which can cost the casino a lot of money.
To avoid this, every casino takes the certain for the uncertain. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that it is not possible to create your own account if, for example, a family member or roommate already has an account at this same casino.
When it can be made plausible that it is actually two different people, however, some casinos are cool.
However, it is wise to check this in advance at the casino, to avoid costly misunderstandings.

-
If you have several accounts at the same casino and you win a prize with one of these accounts, that can cause a lot of problems.
Especially if you have already won a prize with another account at a previous time, there is a good chance that the casino will not pay out anything.
In the case of large winnings, a copy of an identity document and proof of residence must often be sent. This is how the casino tries to make sure that they actually pay the prize to the one to whom the account is linked.
This becomes problematic when a second or third account is located at the same address under a pseudonym.
Obviously, it is not possible to send a copy of an identity document of this person. The result is almost always that the casino refuses to pay out.
It may happen that a casino excludes duplicate accounts on the same IP address or residential address from the website even before obtaining any winnings.
There is no point in challenging the player, because every casino has included in its terms and conditions that duplicate accounts at the same address are not allowed.
So the conclusion is: yes, you can start multiple accounts, but it is by no means advisable.
